Meet Oscar, Loyalty Law Dog of the Month for August 2026!

Oscar is a 5-year-old pug from Indianapolis who loves to eat and cuddle. We salute Oscar and the loyalty he demonstrates through his relationship with his mom. His family says he would cross heaven and earth to get to her, and he loves to lean his head against her and look into her eyes.

Oscar is diagnosed with hydrocephalus and epilepsy. He doesn't receive signals from the left side of his body, so he tends to spin in right circles. As his family puts it - he is not an "ambiturner."

Although Oscar has faced some setbacks in his life, his family says you would never know it based on his sweet personality and excellent manners.

Oscar was adopted from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, a volunteer run non-profit rescue organization dedicated to rescuing pugs from hard situations and matching them with their forever families. You can learn more about them on their website, Facebook, or on Instagram @kentuckiana_pug_rescue.
